Brooke Bradley (Patty Simcox, u/s Sandy/Rizzo) is very excited to be a part of her first musical at Serenbe Playhouse! Brooke is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she received a BFA in Acting. She is currently a member of Serenbe Playhouse’s 2016-2017 Apprentice Company, where she has performed in The Snow Queen (Gerda), Sleepy Hollow (Katrina, u/s), and Charlotte’s Web (Fern/Goose). Lala Cochran (Miss Lynch) is always happy to return to heaven on Earth, Serenbe, where you may have seen her last Spring in Carousel and before that in Oklahoma! Other recent credits include Women in Jeopardy at Aurora and Vanya, Sonia, Masha and Spike at Aurora/Horizon. LaLa received a Suzi Bass award for best lead actress in a play in 2008 for The Little Dog Laughed at Theatre in the Square and a best featured actress Suzi for her work in Best of Enemies at Theatrical Outfit. Montgomery Davis (Ensemble, u/s Marty/Frenchy/Patty, Fight Choreographer) is a graduate of East Carolina University with a B.F.A. in Theatre Performance. She is currently a part of the 2016-2017 Apprentice Company at Serenbe Playhouse. Hao Feng (Ensemble, u/s Sonny/Doody/Roger/Eugene) is ecstatic to conclude his yearlong journey as a part of the 2016-2017 Serenbe Playhouse Apprentice with the legendary Grease! After double majoring in Piano Performance and Neuroscience at Emory University, Hao completed an M.Phil. in Music and Science at the University of Cambridge, where, outside of his studies, he found a new home in theatre. Serenbe credits: Miss Saigon, The Snow Queen, Charlotte’s Web, The Sleepy Hollow Experience, and Of Mice and Men. Abigail Gabor (Cha Cha Digregorio) is delighted and incredibly fortunate to begin her journey with the Atlanta theatre community at Serenbe Playhouse. Abigail returned to her native Atlanta last fall after finishing Rock of Ages in Orlando with TheatreWorks Florida. She is a proud graduate of the School of Theatre at Oklahoma City University and also holds her Masters in Public Administration and Policy from The University of Georgia. Abigail has worked in entertainment for both The Walt Disney Company and Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Her favorite credits include West Side Story, ENRON, and The Odyssey. Many thanks to the team!

Jeremiah Parker Hobbs (Keneckie) is so excited to be back at Serenbe after playing Woof in Hair a few years ago. This year, he has directed Into the Woods Jr at the Legacy Theatre, and is also currently performing in Cinderella and Fella at the Alliance Theatre in the mornings! Brian Jordan (Johnny Casino) is currently an Atlanta-based actor and has appeared in several productions since moving here in May. Favorite credits include: West Side Story, Carousel, and the 2016 Suzi Bass Award winning best musical production of Miss Saigon at Serenbe Playhouse. Recent Georgia credits include The Little Mermaid (Jestam), Of Mice and Men (Whit), and A Chorus Line (Greg).
Shannon McCarren (Marty) is beyond ecstatic to be returning to the magical and transformative Serenbe Playhouse. As a member of the 2015-2016 Serenbe Playhouse Apprentice Company, she is especially excited to be working alongside some familiar faces as she adds her own “cherry twist” to the iconic Marty Maraschino. Shannon’s favorite role to date is that of Shelby in Steel Magnolias at Theatre Raleigh, a performance in which she was nominated for the 2016 BroadwayWorld Raleigh Awards as Best Actress in a Play. Paul Milliken (Vince Fontaine) is an Emmy-winning television journalist who can be seen every morning as feature reporter for FOX 5’s Good Day Atlanta, covering the unique people and places of North Georgia (including several previous stops to Serenbe Playhouse!). He’s also active in local community theatre, having recently been seen as Mr. Blore in And Then There Were None (Act3 Productions), Ed in You Can’t Take It With You (Lionheart Theatre Company), and in The Lakeside Plays at Onion Man Productions. Brian Moote (Teen Angel – Select Performances) is a stand up comedian, actor and radio host based out of Atlanta. As a comedian, he has made appearances on MTV, FX, Comedy Central and FOX. He was also a cast member on the MTV prank show “Money From Strangers” for two seasons. Currently, he can be heard every morning on the nationally syndicated morning radio show, The Bert Show on Q100 in Atlanta.

Michael Stiggers Jr.* (Danny Zuko) is THRILLED to be making his Serenbe Playhouse debut in Grease. Leo Thomasian (Doody) has been performing as an actor and a musician since he was about sixteen years old. With an associate’s degree in Performing Arts from Collin College, Leo has been seen on stage throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. He was most recently seen as Rudolph in Wishing Star Productions’ national tour of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer: The Musical. Other past credits include: Laurie in Little Women (Contemporary Theatre of Dallas); Brad Majors in The Rocky Horror Show (Lakeside Community Theatre); Sonny in In The Heights and Robert Martin in The Drowsy Chaperone (Collin Theatre Center). In addition to Leo’s stage credits, he has also starred in various short films. Leo is also a musician and songwriter, and is currently working on his band’s debut album. He would like to extend his gratitude to his friends and family for all of their endless love and support, and to Brian Clowdus for warmly welcoming him into the Atlanta theatre community.
India Tyree (Jan) is a new resident of Atlanta. Since last year’s move from Virginia, she has been seen in Aurora’s productions of Grace for President (Grace), Into The Woods (Florinda), Vanya and Sonya and Masha and Spike (Nina), and co-productions with Theatrical Outfit, In the Heights (Carla) and Memphis the Musical (Ensemble, Felicia U/S). Aside from acting, India also enjoys song-writing and teaching theater. India thanks her loving family, and the Aurora Theater Apprenticeship, for helping her achieve her theatrical goals.
Austin Windolph (Ensemble) Past credits include The Sleepy Hollow Experience (Brian Clowdus Experiences), Thoroughly Modern Millie, Mary Poppins, To Kill a Mockingbird, On Golden Pond, Pippin, Fame, and The Little Mermaid. Austin, an Atlanta native, is thrilled to be making his Serenbe debut.

Brian Clowdus (Director) is an actor, educator, director, and producer. Brian received his BA in Theatre & Dance from Amherst College graduating Magna Cum Laude, with highest distinction for his Thesis Work and holds an MFA in Acting from The University of South Carolina. Brian is also the CEO & Creative Director of Brian Clowdus Experiences which is taking his environmental work all across the country. He has performed/directed in Tokyo, London, Canada, Central and South America, The Caribbean, NYC, LA and in almost every other major city in the United States. He has had the fortune of working with many major theatres and entertainment companies including: The Shakespeare Theatre Company, Surflight Theatre, Shawnee Playhouse, Park Avenue Theatricals, New Bedford Festival Theatre, The British American Drama Academy, Holland America Cruise Lines, Tokyo Disney, The Debaun Performing Arts Center, New London Barn Playhouse, The LAB Theatre, Theatre South Carolina, Aurora Theatre, Fabrefaction Theatre Company, Stagedoor Players and of course Serenbe Playhouse. Chris Brent Davis (Musical Supervisor) is so glad to be back at Serenbe Playhouse after music directing Miss Saigon (Suzi Bass Award, Outstanding Musical Direction), Evita, Charlotte’s Web (Suzi Bass Nom.), and Carousel. Ryan Oliveti (Assistant Director) is a graduate of Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ. He completed an internship at Actors’ Express in 2013 and has been working as an Director/Assistant Director in Atlanta since that time. Devin Porter (Conductor) Devin Porter is so excited to be back under the stars at Serenbe Playhouse. He served as Assistant Music Director for last summer’s Miss Saigon and played Keys II for Carousel last spring. Originally from Pikeville, KY, Devin is a graduate of Emory University and holds degrees in Music and Theater Studies. He would like to thank Brian and Chris for this amazing opportunity to play the first show he ever fell in love with (and probably the first CD he ever wore out). Devin has played in orchestras around town for Actor’s Express, Aurora Theater, and The Legacy Theatre. Devin’s favorite onstage credits include Shrek (Jenny Wiley Theatre), Sideshow (Act3 Productions), and Avenue Q (Ad Hoc Productions). Joel Coady (Production Manager) is an actor, producer, designer, and director. When not at Serenbe he is the Technical Director at The Atlanta Jewish Academy. He moved to Atlanta in 2012. Since then he has designed shows at The Alliance, Serenbe Playhouse, Catalyst, 7 Stages, Aurora Theatre, The Goat Farm, The Atlanta Jewish Academy, Pace Academy, Georgia Perimeter College, and The Weird Sister’s Theatre Project. Joel recently designed the Suzi nominated show Trestle at Pope Lick Creek with Catalyst.
Lee Maples (Scenic Designer) has a BFA in technical theatre from Auburn University and an MFA in Scenic Design from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale (SIUC). He has instructed on the undergraduate and graduate level for more than a decade. Currently, he resides in Decatur, GA and works as a freelance designer. He received a SUZI Award for Outstanding Scenic Design in 2012 and has designed a number of shows this past year, including:I and You, Big Fish, Love and Information, Nickel and Dimed, Theatre Devised, Stop Kiss, and Hot Pink and Ready to Blow. Between his two degrees, he spent a year working in mainland China in product development, working in factories primarily along coastal China and setting showrooms in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Bradley Bergeron (Lighting & Video Production Designer) has been an Atlanta based designer and performer since 2005. He works as a User Experience Designer and Strategist at Thrive, an Atlanta-based creative consultancy. Bradley is completing his thesis work in the field of Industrial Design at Georgia Institute of Technology and is a proud member of IATSE Local 479. He serves as Technical Director and Production Designer for the Broadway Dreams Foundation. Bradley was awarded the Ovation Award for Technical Direction awarded by the Cobb County Arts Board in 2011. Some of his previous Lighting Designs include A Chorus Line, Anything Goes, Legally Blonde, Ain’t Misbehavin, and Thoroughly Modern Millie (Atlanta Lyric Theatre); Clyde & Bonnie: A Folktale (Aurora Theatre); On Golden Pond (Theatre in the Square). Hollie Chan (Video Production Assistant)
Adam Howarth (Sound Designer) is pleased to be returning to Serenbe for his seventh show having provided previous bouts of design and fits of production and technical direction. Adam’s passion is collecting awards including a Motif award for Hedwig and the Angry Inch at Trinity Rep in Providence and an Ovation award in Los Angeles for Macbeth, a Modern Ecstasy at Redcat. His designs have been featured at Cannes, Moon Dance, and L.A. Shorts film festivals. He served as the product manager for Eastern Acoustic Works, has designed systems for Disney and Universal Studios theme parks, and served as faculty at Emerson College prior to relocating to GA for family. He just loves the uniqueness of Serenbe’s productions.
Rob Brooksher (Sound Designer & Engineer) is thrilled to return to Serenbe after sound engineering last year’s Miss Saigon. Recent Atlanta theatre: Le Petit Prince (Theatre du Reve); Constellations, Nobody Loves You (Horizon Theatre Company); Big Fish (Theatrical Outfit); On the Verge (Georgia Ensemble Theatre). Brandon R. McWilliams (Costume Designer) holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theatre Studies from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Fine Arts in Costume Design from the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama. He has designed regionally for the past fifteen years and is the recipient of the Zelma H. Weisfeld USITT Costume Design Award and two-time recipient of the Elizabeth Shrader Kimberly Award in Costume Design. His work has been on display at the Prague Quadrennial ’07, as well as at the Carnegie Mellon University campus in Qatar. He has taught at Carnegie Mellon University, Salisbury University, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Louisiana State University and currently heads the costume design program at Texas State University. www.brmcwilliams.com

Bret Brammer (Technical Director) is a working technical director in the Atlanta area. Aside from freelance technical position, he teaches stagecraft at Pace Academy as the assistant technical director. He is also prolific in the Atlanta improv community as a performer, primarily at Highwire Comedy Co.
Shelby Mays (Stage Manager) is so excited to be returning to Serenbe Playhouse! In 2014 she was the stage management intern at Serenbe and is so grateful to be returning the Atlanta theatre scene. Shelby has recently graduated from the University of Montevallo with a bachelor of arts degree in theatre and a minor in arts administration. She has recently worked at the Weston Playhouse Theatre Company in Vermont as the company manager of the 2016 season. She has also stage managed Brian Clowdus Experiences production of The Sleepy Hollow Experience in Sturbridge Massachusetts. Kate Handzlik (Assistant Stage Manager) graduated from Milligan College with Bachelor of Arts degrees in photography and psychology, and earned a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre from East Tennessee State University. Amanda Akins (Master Electrician) is very excited to be joining the crew this season. Having graduated with a degree in Theater & English from Stetson University in 2002, she has since studied as a commercial electrician and enjoyed a career in both theater and television as a Master Electrician, Grip and Gaffer. A recent transplant to the Atlanta area, Amanda is so grateful to have found such an amazing community.
Joe Meadows (Master Carpenter) is a theatrical technician based out of the Atlanta area specializing in carpentry, rigging, welding, and electrics. He has employed his talents in many theatres including The Fox, The Classic Center, Horizon Theatre, The Aurora Theatre, The Alliance Theatre, Gypsy Theatre Company, Buford Community Theatre, and Theatrical Outfit. He is excited to work with Serenbe Playhouse for this production of Grease!
Kelsey Mardis (Properties Designer) is a technical theatre practitioner from Choudrant, Louisiana. She studied at Louisiana Tech University where she earned a degree in 2013. She’s danced with the exalted spirits of the Atlanta theatrical arts since fall of 2014 and since has shared her love of creating and teamwork with such establishments like The Center for Puppetry Arts, 7 Stages, The Alliance, Actors Express and Serenbe Playhouse. She treads the razor’s edge of many different technically theatrical facets including but not limited to lighting, sound, props, paint, carpentry and costumes. She’s very stoked to be working with Serenbe theatre and hopes you thoroughly enjoy this show. She also thanks her parents, sister and roommates for all of their undying love and support.
Lindsey Ewing (Wig Design) graduated from the North Carolina School of the Arts of Winston-Salem, NC, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts (concentration in wig and makeup design) in 2008. She is Wigmaster at The Alliance Theater in Atlanta, GA, and does professional freelance work in theatre, print, and special events and occasions. Included in Lindsey’s list of work are such companies as The Spoleto Festival USA, Troika Entertainment, Sarasota Opera Company, Opera Carolina, Piedmont Opera, Utah Shakespearean Festival, UNC Chapel Hill’s Playmaker’s Rep, The University of Maryland, Aurora Theatre, and Kennesaw State University.
