John Hartman (Board Chair) is a Senior Vice President at Equifax in Atlanta, GA. John’s work focuses on corporate development transactions and emerging market activities. John received a B.S. In Business Management from Cornell University and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. He and his wife, Maribeth, live in Atlanta and part time at Serenbe with their three daughters.

Phyllis Bleiweis has lived in Serenbe for two years and was a founding member of the Serenbe Playhouse board. She has also serve as a member of the board of the Serenbe Institute. Professionally, She directed non-profit organizations for 26 years, first in the arts, and then in land-use planning and is now happily retired.

Elizabeth W. Clubb serves as founder and principal for Kismet Associates. Previously, she was President and Chief Strategy Officer of Brighthouse, a creative strategy firm based in Atlanta and, prior to that, a Managing Consultant with strategic marketing firm, Zyman Group. Elizabeth earned her Masters in Business Administration from Goizueta School of Business at Emory University and her Bachelors Degree in English Literature from Connecticut College.

Julie Delliquanti is Director of Schatten Gallery and Associate Curator of Library Exhibitions at the Robert W. Woodruff Library, Emory University. Julie earned a BA in Art Education from California State University at Long Beach and an MS in Arts Administration from Boston University. She lives in Atlanta with her partner, Jack McKinney, and their two children Blue and Rocky. Blue was a Season One intern and will be graduating from Franklin College Switzerland in May 2011.

Karen Falnders-Reed has 20+ years of sustainability experience having worked domestically and internationally within corporations, non-profits as well as intergovernmental organizations. Karen is currently Director of North America for The Prince of Wales’s Business & Sustainability Program and was formerly the Director of Sustainability at The Coca-Cola Company. Prior to joining Coke, Karen lived in Europe for 12 years where she did her graduate work in European studies and led global advocacy campaigns for WWF – the conservation organization. Karen and her husband, John Reid, have five children and divide their time between Atlanta and Serenbe.

Alison Nelson LaBruyere is currently Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at MidCountry Financial Corp. Prior to MidCountry, she practiced law at Alston & Bird LLP. Her community involvement includes the Atlanta Bar Association, Georgia Bar Association and serving on the Advisory Board of Directors, Assistance League of Atlanta. Her education includes: Juris Doctor, University of North Carolina School of Law; and Bachelor of Arts in Education, Furman University.  She lives in Serenbe with her husband, Chad LaBruyere, and their two children James and Joshua.

Merry Preiditsch is currently a Global Human Resource Manager at Accenture, with over 14 years experience specializing in Human Capital and Performance and Change Management methodologies and practices. She earned a BA in Journalism and Marketing at The University of South Carolina. She recently completed a three year term on the Executive Board of Directors for the Frazer Center. She lives in Serenbe, located in Chattahoochee Hills Country, with her husband, Rob Preiditsch, and their two children Cole and Georgia.

Ed Richardson is a Cosmetic and Family Dentist in Peachtree City, where he lives with his wife Patty. Ed is a graduate of Duke University and the Medical College of Georgia, where he maintains a part-time Associate Clinical Instructor position in the Department of Restorative Dentistry. His son, Carter, is enrolled at Kennesaw State University, and his daughter, Lindsey, a 2009 graduate of Wofford College, is currently enrolled in post-graduate work at Georgia State University. Ed and Patty have performed for over 30 years around the Atlanta area and are excited to be a part of continuing to develop the performing arts on the south side of Atlanta.

Michael Ross is a native Atlantan. He attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and received an honorable discharge from the Air Force. Michael joined Guffey’s of Atlanta as a partner in 1976.  In 2001, he opened his own men’s clothing store in Buckhead, called Michael Christopher & Co. After 10 years, he decided to venture into residential real estate. In 2010, Michael joined Harry Norman Realtors. He has served as President of the Colony Square Homeowner’s Association and as a board member of the Illien Adoption Agency, as well as a volunteer to Open Hand Atlanta.

Sandra Storrar is an Associate Broker with Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty with a practice focusing mainly on the Chattahoochee Hills area and Serenbe. Sandra was the first resident to move into Serenbe and as part of her long time love of the arts, she was the founding Chair of the Serenbe Playhouse Board, still serves on the Board and is the Vice President for Arts and Culture for the Serenbe Institute, a non-profit institute that focuses on all arts in the Serenbe community. She is also a member of the board of the Chattahoochee Hill Country Conservancy. Sandra has a Phd in Public Administration from Georgia State University where she was the Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Services and then moved into the corporate world as a Client Executive for PeopleSoft Consulting.
